Golf carts are a great option when you want to cover more of the island, haul beach gear or give the legs a vacation too. Remember that street-legal golf carts operate much like other vehicles, so normal traffic and parking rules still apply.

For exploring Old Town, Duval Street and the Historic Seaport, grab a bike. Most of what you want to see is surprisingly close to The Tipsy Parrot.
For beach days, groceries, exploring the entire island or hauling a group, a golf cart starts making a lot more sense.
And if you're staying awhile, consider renting by the week rather than the day. Several operators offer longer-term rentals or delivery, so it's worth comparing rates before booking.
